Christiana is the CEO of Global Markets Group Limited, an FCA-regulated brokerage firm, where she holds multiple FCA-approved roles, including SMF1 (Chief Executive), SMF3 (Executive Director), SMF16 (Compliance Officer), and SMF17 (Money Laundering Reporting Officer). With over 30 years of extensive experience in the financial industry, Christiana has developed a comprehensive understanding of the full spectrum of financial services. Her career spans major financial institutions, where she has held senior management positions in EU and UK regulated investment firms. Her expertise encompasses private banking, investment management, brokerage, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Throughout her career, Christiana has provided strategic guidance to boards and stakeholders, while leading business operations with a strong emphasis on ethical practices and a client-centric culture. In addition to being an ICA Fellow, Christiana is a Chartered member of the CISI and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Princeton University. A lifelong advocate of continuous learning, she has actively contributed to the CISI Cyprus National Advisory Council for the past seven years, where she serves on the CPD committee.
Anti-Financial Crime & AML Advisor, Leader and Educator
Anna has extensive experience in the financial industry in the field of regulatory compliance. She has worked for many years in the banking industry and has served as a member of the Board of Directors in entities supervised by the Central Bank of Cyprus and CySEC. Through her long-term experience she has obtained a thorough understanding of the overall financial services regulatory requirements, ensuring that regulated entities implement appropriate policies and procedures to comply with regulatory obligations especially in the field of AML. Furthermore, Anna has worked with reputable lawyers in the legal industry and acted as an independent trusted advisor for cases and projects in the areas of her expertise. She is a holder of a BSc (Hons) in the Retail Financial Services and has an Associateship from the London Institute of Banking and Finance (ALIBF). Anna is also certified by CySEC with the Advanced and AML Certification, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a certified trainer by the Human Resource and Development Authority (HRDA).
Founder and CEO of BeyondComply
Nadine Ghosn is the Founder and CEO of BeyondComply, a compliance consultancy and training firm established to help financial services companies understand and overcome the challenges arising from compliance, regulation, and market developments. Nadine is a Member of the Advisory Council of AGRC. She is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) based in Beirut who’s been a Speaker in various Global Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention Conferences, and has more than 30 years of Banking Experience with a focus on Compliance, Treasury, Capital Markets and Private Banking, in addition to 20 years of concentration in the Cards and Payments Industry. Nadine serves as a Professional Consultant in Anti-Money Laundering, Governance Risk & Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection, Virtual Assets Regulation, and Cards Industry Rules and Regulations. She delivers sessions with the Executive Education Programs at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) of the American University of Beirut (AUB). She is also certified as a Trainer by the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF), an EU GDPR Foundation and Practitioner by The Knowledge Academy UK, and also certified in Financial Derivatives, Securities, and FSA Regulations by the UK’s Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI). Nadine was also holding, from May 2019 to December 2024, the position of Director of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at areeba, a Leading Regional Financial Technology company specialized in the payment cards and electronic services. Prior to areeba, Nadine worked for 14 years with CSCBank sal, a regional leader in the card and electronic payment processing industry, of which the last three years have been also as Head of Compliance. Nadine holds a Master’s Degree in Money and Banking from The American University of Beirut, and is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
