ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
The programme aims to provide the knowledge and insights to effectively address the important area of sanctions. The programme will equip participants with the necessary knowledge to be able to use common practices to avoid breaking sanctions, as well as assist participants in understanding methods and common practices used for implementing sanction regimes.
The programme will offer participants the opportunity to explore their obligations under relevant legislation and directives, including risk assessment, record keeping, reporting to authorities, due diligence measures, and staff responsibilities.
ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ
By the end of the programme, participants will:
- Understand the methods and common practices used for implementing sanction regimes
- Understand their obligations arising from the legislation and directives on the subject, as well as specific issues such as risk assessment, record keeping, reports to authorities, due diligence measures, staff obligations, etc.
- Perform their duties and responsibilities under the Laws and Directives
- Develop and implement sound policies, practices and procedures for the proper assessment of risks arising from sanctions
- Be familiar with the common practices used to implement sanction regimes.

Training Style
The programme is designed to deliver high-level knowledge and insights into the methods and common practices used for implementing sanction regimes. It will strive to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge via power-point presentations and practical examples.
Participants will be encouraged to raise questions, seek clarifications and share their opinions from their different perspectives and engage in an exchange of views and personal professional experiences.
CPD Recognition
This programme may be approved for up to 2 CPD units in Financial Regulation and AML. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by your association, regulator or other bodies which you hold membership.
This training course may be approved as an external activity under the new ACAMS recertification category ”non-ACAMS credits” for up to 2 CPD units. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by the Association of Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).
