ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
Following the entry of Cyprus into the European Union, there was a need to harmonize and modernize the legislation regarding intellectual property rights. Intellectual property rights have only recently begun development in Cyprus, and although there was a strong need to secure copyrights in the past, there has been a lack of knowledge regarding the risks involved in this area. Nevertheless, with the current network development in Europe and generally worldwide, and in the context of globalization, such rights must be secured and protected.
ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ
This programme will help the participants to understand the legislation surrounding intellectual property rights which will enable them to apply the law in practice:
- Understand the legislative framework that governs the protection of intellectual property rights
- Be able to apply the legislation in practice regarding various issues under the title of ‘Intellectual Property Rights’

Training Style
Through practical examples, the participants will understand the way the legislation is enforced and the need of securing intellectual property rights.
CPD Recognition
This programme may be approved for up to 6 CPD units in Law. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by your association, regulator or other bodies which you hold membership. The course has been approved and verified by the Cyprus Bar Association (CyBAR).
