ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ

The programme will use diagnostic tools to evaluate the path of the companies, to expound internal and external drivers and barriers to growth, in order to systematically build the platform to explore growth options. This audit will lead to the road map for accelerated growth. Growing the business via strategic management practices and innovation tactics is essential not only to outsmart rivals but also to offer the platform for the next generation of managers (dynamic professionals often family heirs!) to pursue new business models.


The programme is approved by the HRDA (ΑνΑΔ) – Human Resource Development Authority in Cyprus as Vital Importance, therefore the participation fee is fully subsidized, allowing up to three participants per business entity to attend without cost.

ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ

The objective of this seminar is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop and execute an internationalization strategy for their company, focusing on entering new markets or expanding existing ones and effectively promoting their products and services in those markets

  • Upon completing the training, participants will:
    Evaluate the internationalization potential of various markets, considering factors such as market demand, competition, and regulatory environment.
  • Recognize and leverage sources of competitive advantage in international strategy, including factors like expertise, reputation, and network capabilities.
  • Identify and differentiate between the four main types of international strategy, namely export strategies, licensing and franchising, strategic alliances, and foreign direct investment.
  • Prioritize markets for entry or expansion based on comprehensive assessments of market attractiveness, potential growth, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Analyze and compare different modes of market entry and expansion, weighing factors such as cost, risk, control, and scalability.
  • Develop and select the most suitable promotional mix tailored to their company’s unique characteristics and requirements, considering elements like advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and personal selling strategies. 

By achieving these objectives and learning outcomes, participants will contribute to:

  • Enhancing the international competitiveness of their organization by effectively identifying and evaluating international market opportunities, leveraging competitive advantages, and selecting optimal internationalization strategies.
  • Facilitating informed decision-making processes within their organization regarding market entry and expansion, leading to more strategic and successful international expansion efforts and increased profitability.
  • Strengthening the brand presence and market positioning of their organization in international markets through the development and implementation of targeted and effective promotional strategies, ultimately driving business growth and sustainability on a international scale.

This programme includes:

  • 14 hours in classroom (online) training
  • Half-day private company consultation.
  • Participants will receive a signed Certificate-of-Attendance issued by the Executive Education Center of the University of Limassol and bearing the approved logo of the Human Resource Development Agency of Cyprus (ΑνΑΔ).

Dr. Paris Cleanthous is the director of the MBA and MPSM and associate professor of Strategy and Marketing at the University of Limassol (UoL). Dr. Cleanthous received his B.Sc. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
