Aims of the seminar:

• To develop skills regarding when the transfer of headquarters should take place within and outside the Republic of Cyprus.
• To develop skills regarding the preparation and writing of the necessary documents and the correct procedures that should be followed for transfer in and out.
• To develop skills regarding the interpretation of the Law and the various important court cases concerning the transfer of a company's registered office within and outside the Republic of Cyprus.
• To develop skills regarding client information and what they should advise their client.
• To support their position with reference to the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus.
• To apply the legal principles regarding the Law regarding the transfer of a company's registered office inside and outside the Republic of Cyprus.

INSTRUCTOR: MS. ANDREA ANTONIADOU (ADVOCATE - LEGAL ADVISOR)

Ms. Andrea Antoniadou is a registered member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2015 acting as an advocate and legal consultant. Andrea has obtained an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and an LLB (Hons) Law Degree (First Class) from the University of Manchester. Andrea worked for 7 years at one of the top law firms on the Island, Papaphilippou & Co LLC, as a lawyer in the Corporate and Commercial Department.

Andrea's legal experience is wide ranging, with a specialist approach to the provision of legal opinions on corporate matters, the establishment of trusts, drafting of commercial agreements providing legal advice to corporations and financial institutions and merger and acquisitions. Andrea also has extensive experience in litigating corporate and commercial matters before the Supreme Court and District Courts of the Republic of Cyprus for high-profile clients.

Andrea is a legal trainer with the European Legal Training Center. Not only does she possess the legal knowledge and know how to lead our trainees through the procedural minefield that is the law, but her personable approach to teaching really does set her apart.
