This online training program examines the new EU AML system and the EUAML Regulation which will apply from the 10th of July 2027 – the new frontier for AML/CTF regulation and supervision in the European Union.
It is vital for Obliged Entities to develop a solid understanding of the new system and the Regulation and effectively update their policies and procedures. This programme shall focus on the key concepts of the EU AMLR, and highlight the differences and progress of regulation as compared with the old (current) system that will soon be replaced.

- Interaction between national supervisors and AMLA and joint, direct supervision of selected financial institutions
Module 3 – Internal Policies, Procedures and Controls of Obliged Entitles
- Internal AML/CFT policies and procedures
- Business-wide risk assessments
- Internal controls and governance requirements
- Compliance functions responsibilities: The Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer, and the role of the management body
Module 4 – Customer Due Diligence under the new Regulation
- Customer identification and verification measures
- Purpose and intended nature of the business relationship

Module 5 – Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements
- High-risk third countries
- Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
