ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
This seminar equips educators and academic leaders with Cultural Intelligence (CQ) to create diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environments. Participants will learn to navigate cultural diversity, design inclusive curricula, and lead high-performing multicultural teams. The programme promotes innovative teaching, global educational leadership, and ethical practices, fostering institutional cultures that prioritise cultural awareness, strategic decision-making, and student engagement for improved learning outcomes in an interconnected academic landscape.
ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ
This seminar is designed to:
- Equip educators and academic leaders with Cultural Intelligence (CQ) to foster diverse, equitable, and inclusive educational environments, improving student engagement and learning outcomes across culturally diverse classrooms.
- Develop participants’ ability to effectively navigate cultural diversity in education, create inclusive curricula, and build high-performing multicultural teams that contribute to innovative teaching practices and academic success.
- Promote global educational leadership principles that align with inclusive teaching strategies, social responsibility, and ethical practices in an increasingly interconnected academic landscape.
- Strengthen institutional culture by fostering inclusive teaching, strategic decision-making, and student engagement through cultural awareness and competency

Trainer: Dr Αndri Hadjiandreou (Director of UoL Center for DEI and the Coordinator of the UoL YouTube/podcast Channel)
Dr. Andri Hadjiandreou is the Director of UoL Center for DEI and the Coordinator of the UoL YouTube/podcast Channel. In September 2024, Andri was appointed by the Cyprus Organization for Standardization to become the National Representative to ISO TC 309 Governance of Organizations, WG 11 Diversity Management System. She is also a Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and Unconscious Bias certified trainer by the Cultural Intelligence Center, Chicago USA. Andri holds a PhD in Performance and Related Studies from the University of London, a BM and MM in Piano Performance from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and an MSc in Education, Leadership, and Management from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. Teaching and other professional affiliations in the fields of research, education, and culture include the Cyprus International Institute of Management (UoL: 2022 – current), University of Nicosia – Department of Music and Dance (2008 – 2015), Creative Europe Desk Cyprus – Culture Program (2016 & 2017), Cyprus Symphony Orchestra – Board of Directors (2011 – 2015), the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture – Music Schools (2006 – current), and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey – Music Department and Modern Greek Department (2003 – 2006). Andri was a founding member and president of Arts Embrace Cultural Organization (2011 – 2021) and a founding member and president of Curious Qat Cultural Organization (2022 – current), through which she has an active career in the cultural and creative industry.
