Mrs. Kyriaki Anastasiou is an educator with over five years’ experience in teaching Greek as a second/foreign language. She is a native speaker of Greek and fluent in English. Kyriaki holds a in master’s degree at Comparative Education from the UCL Institute of Education in addition to a degree in Education from the University of Cyprus with specialisation in Greek Language and Inclusive Education, both with distinction.  

Mrs. Kyriaki has qualified teacher status (QTS) to teach in the United Kingdom. She taught Greek at Saint Eleftherios primary Greek School, in Leyton (London) and has worked for various international schools. She taught native speakers of Grade 1 at American International School in Cyprus (AISC) and the beginners of Grade 1 at Med High Private English School. At present, she is teaching at the American Academy Nicosia. Mrs. Kyriaki taught a wide range of students from those who have a good grasp of the Greek language to those who have never studied it before. Her main focus is to enable her students to systematically use the Greek language in an effective way.

Mrs. Kyriaki has been an instrumental part of the team of the European Legal Training Center for the provision of the Cyprus Bar Exam Preparation Course for non-native speakers of Greek and has contributed greatly to the development of a Greek Legal Terminology Course.
