ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
This intensive two-day programme provides participants with a practical methodology that combines Design Thinking with Generative AI to solve complex business challenges, uncover deeper insights, and accelerate innovation. Through interactive workshops, case studies, hands-on exercises, and live demonstrations, you will learn how to analyse user needs, synthesise data, generate ideas, and rapidly prototype new products and services using leading GenAI tools. Every skill is immediately applicable.
Follow-up Consultation Session
Attendance of at least 90%, plus a compulsory 4-hour follow-up workshop, is required for HRDA subsidy eligibility. The workshop takes place with each participating company on a mutually agreed date within 4 months of the training. It applies the programme directly to your organisation through a four-step approach: structure analysis, activity mapping, problem identification and theoretical integration. Working with role and sector specific case studies, the trainer coaches your team on innovation leadership and helps develop ideas, strategic analyses and product or service prototypes tailored to your needs.
ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Apply Design Thinking frameworks from MIT and Columbia University to complex organisational problems.
- Navigate the MIT four step framework of Identify, Analyse, Conceptualise and Create, from need detection to prototype delivery.
- Use the Anthropic 4D AI Fluency Framework for effective, efficient, ethical and safe collaboration with AI.
- Harness Generative AI for data synthesis, insight generation, ideation and rapid prototyping.
- Design experiments that validate business hypotheses and real user needs.
- Organise high intensity Design Sprints that compress months of development into a single week.
- Select the right tools and processes for customer discovery and primary market research (qualitative and quantitative research).
- Reframe AI as a creative partner and build an experimental, innovation driven mindset across multidisciplinary teams.
ΣΕ ΠΟΙΟΥΣ ΑΠΕΥΘΥΝΕΤΑΙ
Designed for professionals in managerial or supervisory positions: customer experience, customer service, technology, operations and marketing managers, and executives responsible for experience, product and service design, sales and performance.
All participants should be currently employed.

Agenda
1. Module 1: Foundations of Creativity, Innovation, and Design (2 h)
This module establishes the theoretical foundation for innovation by examining human creativity and the strategic impact of design. Participants learn to transition from theoretical ideation to a testing culture.
- How human creativity works and what drives novel solutions.
- The myths that block creative work, including the lone genius fallacy.
- The main types of innovation and their impact on organisational growth.
- Design as a core driver of business value and competitive advantage.
2. Module 2: Tools and Techniques for Creative Problem Solving (2 h)
This session provides practical tools to manage creative workflows, focusing on structured methodologies for creative problem solving and international best practices.
- Morphological analysis for exploring every possible solution path.
- SCAMPER (Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to another use, Eliminate, and Reverse) for iterating on existing products and services.
- Grid brainstorming for organising high volumes of ideas.
- AI driven ideation: Large Language Models as creative partners that bypass creative blocks and accelerate data synthesis.
3. Module 3 (Part 1): Design Thinking Frameworks and AI Integration (Practical exercise) (1 h & 30 min)
This session examines specialised frameworks from leading global institutions to support market success and promote the ethical and effective use of AI.
- The MIT Design Thinking process for discovering the need, defining the problem, designing the concept, prototyping, and verifying.
- Columbia's discovery model: What Is, What If, What Wows, What Works, that allows participants to learn how to reframe organizational challenges, to provide a structured Design Thinking discovery process and to uncover hidden user needs.
- The Anthropic 4D AI Fluency Framework for effective and ethical human AI collaboration.
- The human in the loop principle for accuracy and safety within automated business processes.
4. Module 3 (Part 1 Continued): Design Thinking Frameworks and AI Integration (Practical exercise) (1 h & 30 min)

5. Module 3 (Part 2): Design Thinking Frameworks and AI Integration (Practical exercise) (2 h)
This module focuses on the intersection of human centric research and AI to validate business assumptions.
- Customer discovery methods and the identification of the “Jobs to be Done” by users, ensuring that tech products solve actual functional or emotional needs.
- Testable business hypotheses that expose high risk assumptions early.
- Exploratory data analysis and data synthesis to uncover patterns in user behaviour.
- Hands on exercise: analyse 50 user interviews and 500 incident reports to extract the priority high-value features for the SecurePath mobility conceptual app.
