The Family Firm Institute (FFI), shows that the survival rate of family-run businesses in Cyprus aligns with global trends regarding generational transitions. This means that only 30% of family businesses survive the transition from first to second generation, and just 10% make it to the third generation. 

Family businesses are unique in a way that their founders and leaders are required to combine the demands of the business while working within the family culture. Supporting strong leadership will significantly improve the chances of increasing the productivity and profitability of any family business. It is fundamental that generational leadership is strengthened to improve these statistics.

This training programme is targeted at those who operate in family businesses. The programme unfolds the different leadership styles of family business leaders and their impact on the dynamics of family businesses and their management. Each of these eight-leadership style, as defined by Michelle Lestas, will impact differently the strategic growth, productivity and profitability of the business.
