Πριν την καταχώρηση πραγματικών δικαιούχων στον Έφορο Εταιρειών, πρέπει τα άτομα/εκπαιδευόμενοι να γνωρίζουν ποια άτομα ορίζονται ως τέτοια και με ποια ιδιότητα καταχωρούνται, σύμφωνα με τον νόμο και τις Ευρωπαϊκές οδηγίες.

Μετά από παρακολούθηση των γενικών τάσεων στον τομέα αυτό στη Κύπρο, προκύπτει η ανάγκη κατάρτισης δικηγόρων, νομικών συμβούλων, λογιστών, ελεγκτών και/ή άλλων επαγγελματιών που ασχολούνται με το εταιρικό δίκαιο και παρέχουν υπηρεσίες, οι οποίοι θα πρέπει να ενημερωθούν για το πλαίσιο που περιβάλει σύμφωνα με το νόμο τους πραγματικούς δικαιούχους και το ποσοστό που κατέχουν.

Ο καταρτιζόμενος θα καθοδηγηθεί σχετικά με τη σημασία και τον προσδιορισμό πραγματικών δικαιούχων και θα ενθαρρυνθεί να αναπτύξει τις ικανότητες του ούτως ώστε να μπορεί να συμβουλεύει πελάτες και άλλα άτομα αλλά και να καταχωρεί στις αρμόδιες αρχές του κράτους με σιγουριά τα απαραίτητα στοιχεία των πραγματικών δικαιούχων.

Αυτό το πρόγραμμα εξετάζει τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά των πραγματικών δικαιούχων, τα προβλήματα που πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστούν και τις δεξιότητες συλλογής πληροφοριών που σχετίζονται με την καταχώρηση τους στον Έφορο Εταιρειών. Επιπρόσθετα, παρέχει χρήσιμες πρακτικές πληροφορίες βήμα-βήμα για την ορθή υποβολή των πληροφοριών καθώς και τα διάφορα έντυπα που θα χρησιμοποιηθούν. Το μάθημα θα είναι διαδραστικό, βασισμένο σε περιπτωσιολογικές μελέτες και θα περιλαμβάνει συγκεκριμένες περιπτώσεις καταχώρησης πραγματικών δικαιούχων.

Mrs. Georgia Onoufriou is a qualified lawyer in the Republic of Cyprus and holds an MSc in European Policy Law and Management from The Robert Gordon’s University of Scotland, an LLB from the University of London and a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Ethnikon Kapodistriako University in Athens. Since 2005, she has been working for the Group of Companies Pagecorp, provider of global company, administrative, secretarial and other services which is connected to the law firm Patrikios Pavlou and Associates LLC. Since working at this firm, Georgia has steadily worked her way through the company ranks and todayholds the title of Head of Corporate Department and Data Protection Officer. She is tasked with the supervision of all Senior Administrators and managing client portfolios within the department. In addition to this challenging role, Georgia is further tasked with the corporate administration of companies, the drafting and execution of commercial contracts and creation of trust structures. Retention of clients, lead generation and drafting of legal opinions also make up an important part of her role. 

Georgia holds memberships in the International Business Committee of the Cyprus Fiduciary Association (CFA) and the Legal and Corporate Affairs Committee of the CFA. Georgia has consistently kept up to date and participated in a plethora of vocational professional seminars in relation to contract drafting, trusts law, company law and international tax law. Georgia is an avid legal researcher and regularly publishes articles in prominent legal think tank platforms in Cyprus. She has also provided her assistance and guidance in the political sphere where she has taken an active role in policy drafting and research. Furthermore, Georgia is also a member of various legal research groups where she lends her expert legal research skills and experience in policy drafting. 

Mrs. Onoufriou is also a vocational trainer at the European Legal Training Centre where she utilizes her wealth of practical and professional legal, corporate and compliance experience. In fact, Georgia currently coaches trainee advocates undertaking the Cyprus Bar Exams in various subjects. Georgia is also actively engaged in creating new professional training courses in the legal sphere and is passionate about education and sharing her experience.
