This 4-hour course looks at the drafting of share sale and purchase agreements (SPAs) and related transactional documents from the point of view of both parties. It will enhance your understanding of the overall transaction structure, the purpose of the key provisions of the SPA and the effect that amendments can have.
The course also encourages you to develop your drafting skills in context, to enable you to confidently produce more effective and robust agreements for your clients.

Mrs. Georgia Onoufriou, MSc, LLB, BA
Mrs. Georgia Onoufriou is a qualified lawyer in the Republic of Cyprus and holds an MSc in European Policy Law and Management from The Robert Gordon’s University of Scotland, an LLB from the University of London and a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Ethnikon Kapodistriako University in Athens. Since 2005, she has been working for the Group of Companies Pagecorp, provider of global company, administrative, secretarial and other services which is connected to the law firm Patrikios Pavlou and Associates LLC. Since working at this firm, Georgia has steadily worked her way through the company ranks and todayholds the title of Head of Corporate Department and Data Protection Officer. She is tasked with the supervision of all Senior Administrators and managing client portfolios within the department. In addition to this challenging role, Georgia is further tasked with the corporate administration of companies, the drafting and execution of commercial contracts and creation of trust structures. Retention of clients, lead generation and drafting of legal opinions also make up an important part of her role.
Georgia holds memberships in the International Business Committee of the Cyprus Fiduciary Association (CFA) and the Legal and Corporate Affairs Committee of the CFA. Georgia has consistently kept up to date and participated in a plethora of vocational professional seminars in relation to contract drafting, trusts law, company law and international tax law. Georgia is an avid legal researcher and regularly publishes articles in prominent legal think tank platforms in Cyprus. She has also provided her assistance and guidance in the political sphere where she has taken an active role in policy drafting and research. Furthermore, Georgia is also a member of various legal research groups where she lends her expert legal research skills and experience in policy drafting.
Mrs. Onoufriou is also a vocational trainer at the European Legal Training Centre where she utilizes her wealth of practical and professional legal, corporate and compliance experience. In fact, Georgia currently coaches trainee advocates undertaking the Cyprus Bar Exams in various subjects. Georgia is also actively engaged in creating new professional training courses in the legal sphere and is passionate about education and sharing her experience.
