Techisland is organising a live presidential candidates debate featuring Nikos Christodoulides, Andreas Mavroyiannis & Averof Neophytou on 13th December at 11:00 at the Parklane Spa & Resort Limassol.

Presidential Elections Candidates will have the opportunity to present their vision on Cyprus Economy, their targets and their priorities. During the discussion, the Candidates will reveal their plans in detail and analyse their specific actions on how to promote Cyprus as a Technology Hub. They will talk about their policies and proposals on how they will attract technology companies in Cyprus.

Accommodation and Education are two major problems technology companies face when considering moving to Cyprus. It will be very interesting to hear the candidates rolling out their views on these issues and especially on the educational reform to address the challenges of the demand in high-tech personnel.  

Technology Companies also face a major issue when it comes to proper and affordable accommodation for their personnel. The Candidates will express their views and proposals in addressing this problem. Furthermore, it is very interesting to learn how the candidates are planning to address the issue of bureaucratic, complex and time-consuming process in obtaining relevant visas for the staff of these companies.

The debate is addressed to business leaders and decision-makers such as Board Members, CEOs, Managing Directors, and other senior management executives from all the major corporations in Cyprus and abroad with focus on the technology sector.
