Maria Stylianou is a Tech Leadership Consultant specialising in hyper-growth organisations, with clients across Europe and the UK. She brings over a decade of experience in software engineering and leadership, including scaling Monzo and Marshmallow, two UK fintech unicorns.

Maria is committed to building inclusive tech communities where people feel empowered to enter, grow, and lead. She is the founder of Google Developer Groups Cyprus, the island’s largest developer community. She is also a regular speaker and moderator at tech conferences, a mentor for girls through various programmes, and the co-host of Breaking the 20%, a podcast sharing stories that inspire more women to build and lead in tech. She holds an MSc in Distributed Systems from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus (UCY), and is a certified CyHRDA Trainer.
