A dynamic and very practical programme that will take managers and supervisors, beyond standard management and leadership training, to equip them with knowledge, skills and tools that will help them to enhance their roles as unit, department and section leaders in this very complex business environment of our times.

To be successful in today’s demanding work environment, a manager requires a wide range of knowledge and proficiency, to be able to reach desired targets and objectives. This knowhow goes far beyond the technical competencies that, although very important, alone cannot bring success to individuals and their organisations.

Through an interactive, case-based learning approach participant will have the opportunity to learn from subject-matter practitioners and take away knowledge, skills and tools to assist them in their job roles.  They will begin their learning journey by exploring  their own-roles and styles of management and the importance of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) on both themselves and their team, and continue by looking at key areas, including, how effective communications can be a deciding factor to successful teams,  how coaching, delegation and feedback can guarantee a motivated and engaged workforce, as well as how a  performance systems can further enhance units and departments

It has been proven time and time again that what stands out in successful organisation worldwide is their people, therefore, ultimately, the success of the midlevel professionals will be the key to bringing the desired outcomes of any organisation

The training programme has met the rigorous quality standards of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and has achieved the CMI Accreditation.

Training Style

The course will be delivered using a participative approach and a variation of learning styles and methods.  It will combine engaging material, self-assessments, presentations, case studies, discussions and videos, as well as group sessions, all of which will assist the group in attaining invaluable know-how and tools, be able to reinforce and adapt the new knowledge to their own skills, and be in a position to immediately transfer this to the workplace.
