Cyprus has recently introduced a dedicated Fund Administrators Law, formally setting out a legal framework for fund administration services. The new framework aims to strengthen transparency, reinforce investor protection, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the Cypriot investment funds sector.
It complements the existing AIF and AIFM legislation by providing clear regulation and supervisory oversight of fund administration activities, making it essential for companies to familiarise themselves with the new requirements.
