Dr Ryan Constadinos Grammenos is a Senior Consultant, Project Manager and HRDA-certified Trainer (including for Vital Importance seminars) who brings expertise across a broad range of information and communication technologies. He holds a first-class BEng degree (first class honours) in Electronic Engineering from Cardiff University, an MEng degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Automatic Control from Université Côte d'Azur, and a Doctorate in Communications Engineering from University College London (UCL), where he maintains a position as a Visiting Academic. He has experience of working in both industry and academia as an electronics engineer, research engineer, systems developer, technology exchange manager and academic staff member (lecturer through to associate professor).

Ryan brings over 15 years of cross-industry experience bridging academic research and practical implementation. His previous work has considered the analysis of building management systems for energy efficiency, the use of interpretable machine learning for building systems optimisation, the development of Artificially Intelligent (AI)-driven waste management solutions, and the evaluation of wireless technologies targeted to Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios.

Ryan has also provided training and advisory services to renowned organisations such as Arup, IBM, Rothamsted Research, IDEALondon, and Inria-Paris, on topics related to IoT-based and data-driven solutions. His knowledge and experience span multiple complementary domains including IoT testbeds, machine learning, analysis of time-series sensor data, edge computing, as well as cloud technologies.

A Senior Fellow (SFHEA) of Advance Higher Education, Ryan champions innovative learning approaches and has delivered specialised technical training both in-person and online. Fluent in three languages (Greek, English, French), he brings a global perspective to technology implementation while maintaining focus on practical business applications.
