Michalis Michael is currently employed as an HSQ Officer at Columbia Hotels and Resorts LTD, where he has served since June 2023. In this role, he specializes in Internal Audit, Training, and Development, with a strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and operational quality in the hospitality industry. 

As a certified trainer, Michalis has successfully delivered HRDA-supported training programs in 2024 and 2025, covering topics such as Nutrition Trends, Food Allergens, Special Dietary Menus (including vegan and gluten-free options), Culinary and Pastry Arts with emphasis on Cypriot cuisine, Hygiene in Food and Beverage Operations, and Allergens in Special Diet Recipes. 

Additionally, he has conducted over 150 hours of staff training on Food Hygiene, HACCP Guidelines and Implementation, Allergen Management, Proper Use of Chemical Substances, Spillage Handling, and Health and Safety.
