The Cyprus Life Saving Federation was founded in 1993 and is a full member of the International Life Saving Europe, and by extension of the International Life Saving, as well as of the Royal Life Saving Commonwealth which encompasses countries like England, Scotland and Canada.

The Cyprus Life Saving Federation is in close collaboration with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre of the Government of Cyprus, under the coordination of which many rescues took place in the last few years.
