The Cyprus Safety & Health Association was founded in Nicosia in September 1991 by 21 founding members, with main aim its active contribution and participation in the effort for promoting health and safety at work for the protection of workers/employees and of the Public in general.

The Association’s aspirations through its operations are: 

•The promotion, relay, publicisation and exchange of knowledge, ideas, experiences and expertise, as well as the organisation of seminars, conferences and lectures.

•The education and informing of workers and employees, and of the Public in general.

•The dissemination of information through publications, articles, and documentation.

•The collaboration with other Associations and stakeholders in Cyprus and abroad.

•The submission of documented opinions and suggestions for the formation of policies and targets in the field of health and safety at work in Cyprus.

•The provision of support and technical guidance to its members and to the society in general.
