The English Learning Centre is an English language school, recognised and approved by the Ministry of Education. It has been operating for over 20 years, teaching English to local and overseas students.

The Director and founder of the school, Yiota Kontoloucas, is London born and educated. Her experience, vision and creative energy have generated a school which provides expert teaching with up to date methodologies, high academic achievement and systematic teacher training. Her philosophy, ‘a friendly, relaxed environment; both in and out of the classroom’, contributes to greater commitment of both students and staff.

A warm but professional atmosphere permeates the school, to ensure the students feel safe and secure within their learning environment.

The school has always focused on top quality educational programmes, in line with the Common European Framework
(CEF) and is annually chosen by European countries as an educational centre for summer school.
